The numbers behind the at-home dad phenomenon and why they matter
In the mid-1990s, the accepted count for at-home dads in the United States was 2 million -- a veritable army of engaged dads. But a change in Census Bureau protocol means recent estimates have been far, far lower.

rebeldad.com for 8 years. A former
washingtonpost.com parenting blogger, Reid writes and speaks extensively on the new "involved fatherhood" and has been featured on the

Boston Globe. His family lives in Lincoln , Nebraska .
