Join the local Dads Group at a popular DC area restaurant by selecting the “Dad’s Night Out” option on the registration form.
Friday, October 7, 9am-4pm – Tours of our Nation’s Capitol
Members of the DC Metro Dads will lead several different tour options of the DC area. Additional details will be posted on www.AtHomeDadConvention.com soon. Select the “Friday DC Tours” option on the registration form to attend.
Friday, October 7, 5:30-7:30pm – Meet & Greet, Embassy Suites of Alexandria
Meet at-home dads from around the country and enjoy some FREE adult beverages and snacks by selecting the “Meet & Greet” option on the registration form. Afterwards, sign up for one of several great dinner options in historic Old Town.
Saturday, October 8, 8:30am-5pm - 16th Annual At-Home Dads Convention, Teacher Training Facility, George Washington Middle School, Alexandria, VA
Keynote Speaker: Dr. Aaron Rochlen, Associate Professor in Counseling Psychology at the University of Texas at Austin, will discuss the practical implications of his recently published study of women married to at-home dads.
Other educational sessions will include: Dad-to-Dad Age-Group Open Forum Discussions, At-Home Work Outs for At-Home Dads, How to Start a Safe Routes to School Program, Making Dad Blogs Great, Being a Good Sports Parent, Growing Your At-Home Dad Group, and much MUCH MORE!!!

Saturday, October 8, 7-10pm - Saturday Dinner, Joe Theismann’s Restaurant
For only $30, join us at Joe Theismann's Restaurant, located next to the Convention Hotel, to enjoy an exceptional 3-course meal and extend your Convention experience (tax and tip included; alcohol is not). Register by selecting the "Saturday Dinner" option on the registration form.
