Friday, October 7, 5:30-7:30pm – Meet & Greet, Embassy Suites of Alexandria
Meet at-home dads from around the country and enjoy some FREE adult beverages and snacks by selecting the “Meet & Greet” option on the registration form. Afterwards, sign up for one of several great dinner options in historic Old Town.
Saturday, October 8, 8:30am-5pm - 16th Annual At-Home Dads Convention, Teacher Training Facility, George Washington Middle School, Alexandria, VA
Keynote Speaker: Dr. Aaron Rochlen, Associate Professor in Counseling Psychology at the University of Texas at Austin, will discuss the practical implications of his recently published study of women married to at-home dads.
Other educational sessions will include: Dad-to-Dad Age-Group Open Forum Discussions, At-Home Work Outs for At-Home Dads, How to Start a Safe Routes to School Program, Making Dad Blogs Great, Being a Good Sports Parent, Growing Your At-Home Dad Group, and much MUCH MORE!!!
